The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is responsible for mediation when there is a dispute regarding a citizen and the Zoning Department. For Example: A permit is denied to a citizen that wishes to construct a building and the permit is denied by Zoning Department. The citizen can appeal to the ZBA for an appeal of the permit.
