This board is entrusted with the authority to improve the area identified by the State of Michigan as the Downtown Development Authority district.

Duties include, but not limited to, projects designed to beautify and make more appealing the DDA District area. Establishing funding potentials for these projects, pursuing grant opportunities for funding, assisting and attracting new businesses that wish to establish themselves within the DDA District.
