This board is mandated by the State of Michigan and must follow rules and regulations according to State statute.
The duties of this board are to give the residents an opportunity to voice any concerns over their property taxes. After obtaining all information the board will make the appropriate recommendation to the taxing authority.
MEMBERS OF THIS BOARD WILL BE COMMITTED TO MEET ON DAYS ASSIGNED BY THE STATE OF MICHIGAN AND ARE NOT FLEXIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE BOARD MEMBERS OR INDIVIDUALS.
ALSO, THE STATE OF MICHIGAN REQUIRES ATTENDANCE OF TRAINING WHEN OFFERED BY THE STATE.
